This toy is great.. until your little one figures out how to pull it out of the stand. It only took my 8 month old 10 minutes to pull it of the suction cup and toss it on the ground. Kinda defeats the purpose of a suction toy.. it doesn't stay in place!!

If you are going to buy a franchise then chances are you have started with a list of 20 potential franchisors, then whittled it down to 10, then contacted at least 5-8 and applied to 3-4 and actually received information, phone calls and entered a friendly "get-to-know-you" sales process. Allowing the franchisor to see if you fit on his team and allowing you to determine if you are willing to join as a franchisee.

Okay, once you've picked out the right franchise for you, the next step and probably the most important step is to talk to a few franchisees. Now, you are probably wondering how to make contact with them? Well, it's easy really, you see, each franchisee is listed in the disclosure document that the franchisor is required by law to give to you, well in advance of receiving any monies from you. This is your opportunity to do a little extra due diligence and homework.

Every hour you spend checking on the franchise system and meeting franchisees is well worth it and you'll be glad you did in the long run. Call up 5 or more franchisees and ask them about their experiences with the franchisor, and how they get along with;

1. The Staff
2. The Vendors
3. The Other Franchisees

Ask them how they like the business, how much money the franchisee is making. Ask them if they plan to stay with the company, sell their franchise or renew at the end of the term of the franchise agreement. Do a little investigation and find out if this is a good fit for you and your future business. Then think on it.
